A round-up of last week’s people moves at LPs and GPs around the world

LPs

  • HSBC Bank USA has hired Eric Ingber as US Head of Ultra High Net Worth, leading efforts to support teams across sales, investment management, and compliance. He was most recently Managing Director and Market Executive of New York for Bank of America Private Bank.

  • Netherlands-based bank ING has appointed Sali Salieski as Global Head of Private Individuals, effective April 1, 2025. He will be responsible for the Private Individuals segment within Retail Banking, which also covers Business Banking and Private Banking, Wealth Management, and Investments. He joined in 2004 and was most recently Head of Retail and Private Banking at ING Belgium.

  • Danish public pension fund for academics P+ has hired Mikkel Loft as Director of the Investment Department and Johannes Beyer as Head of Development. Loft joins from DWS Group, where he was the Portfolio Manager for two real estate debt funds, and Fund Manager for one infrastructure debt fund. Beyer was previously Head of Integrations Development at insurance company Tryg.

  • UK workplace pension provider People’s Partnership has appointed Kay Smith as Chief Financial Officer. She was previously the Chief Finance Officer at Amwins Global Risks Group, and formerly held roles at Finastra, Arthur J. Gallagher, and Towergate Insurance.

  • Wealth management firm Prime Capital Financial, formerly Prime Capital Investment Advisors, has hired Stu Berrin as Partner, Managing Director, and Financial Advisor – the firm’s first based in New York. He joins from a 12-year stint at Edelman Financial Engines where he was most recently Director of Financial Planning.

GPs

  • UK-based private equity firm Bowmark Capital has hired Monty Ismail as an Investment Director and Matthew Grady as an Investment Executive. Ismail was previously a Director at Levine Leichtman Capital Partners, where he focused on transactions in the business services and software sectors. Grady joins from Raymond James, where he was an Investment Banking Associate.

  • Virginia-based real estate firm Capital Square has promoted Chris Hirth to EVP of Asset Management, responsible for oversight of the firm’s $6bn+ portfolio. He joined in 2016 as an Asset Manager before his promotion to VP in 2020.

  • US private credit manager Golub Capital has opened an office in Abu Dhabi and appointed Naser Almutairi as Managing Director, Middle East. Almutairi was most recently a Managing Director at Wafra, where he was responsible for business development across the Middle East.

  • JP Morgan Asset Management has hired Aaron Mulvihill as Executive Director and Global Market Strategist, specializing in alternatives. He will play a role in the development and expansion of the firm’s Guide to Alternatives publication and the ‘Alternative Realities’ podcast. He joins from infrastructure solutions supplier CRH.

  • Private equity firm Olympus Partners has promoted Manu Bettegowda to Chief Operating Officer. He joined the Stamford, Connecticut-based firm in 1998 as an Associate before becoming Partner in 2005. Olympus Partners is currently raising $4bn for its eighth private equity fund, according to Preqin data.

  • Option3, a cybersecurity private equity firm, has appointed Karl Kilb III as Operating Partner. He will also be Chief Strategy Officer for the firm’s ENIGMA Zero Trust platform. He previously spent over 21 years at Bloomberg, including 15 as General Counsel, before leaving in 2014 to be a Professor of Law at Fordham University.

  • Round Hill Music has appointed Katie Kowinski as Chief of Investor Relations and Business Development. She joins from Raven Capital Management, where she was responsible for capital markets and fundraising initiatives, including music IP strategies. Round Hill Music currently manages a $900mn portfolio of music rights, deploying $1.1bn since its inception in 2010.

  • Healthcare and technology-focused growth equity firm Silversmith Capital Partners has hired Jim Costanzo as a Senior Advisor. He was formerly CEO of Nordic Consulting, a portfolio company of Silversmith. He led Nordic Consulting before its sale to Bon Secours Mercy Health in 2022. Before this, he was Global Health Leader at EY.
